Setting up Email accounts including setting up secure Email via SSL




Due to the fact that all nsxx.fab-host.com servers have SSL certificates on them to protect our clients privacy and have secure connections between server and client - we recommend that you set up your email as recommended with settings as shown in your cPanel --> add/remove e-mail accounts --> spot the particular email account you want and press more --> Configure Email client

For manual settings use similar to the following:

You can manually configure your Email Client (Outlook, Windows Live Mail, MacOS® Mail.app® for “Pre Lion” (10.4+) etc...) using the settings below:

The X represented below in the nsx.fab-host.com represents a secure server number.

Currently WDKhosting users will be ns7.fab-host.com

Secure SSL/TLS Settings
(Recommended)
Username: address@yourdomain.com
Password: Use the email account’s password.
Incoming Server: ns7.fab-host.com
  • IMAP: Port 993
  • POP3: Port 995
Outgoing Server: ns7.fab-host.com
  • SMTP: Port 465
Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.

Note: the secure SSL Settings Ports as applicable.

Non-SSL Settings
Username: address@yourdomain.com
Password: Use the email account’s password.
Incoming Server: mail.yourdomain.com
  • IMAP: Port 143
  • POP3: Port 110
Outgoing Server: mail.yourdomain.com
  • SMTP: Port 25
Authentication is required for IMAP, POP3, and SMTP.
